The Tyco 711P 516.900.101 is a microprocessor-based, conventional optical detector offering features designed to extend the shelf-life of the detector and reduce installed costs to customers. Tyco 711P 516.900.101 is EN54, MED and IACS approved, making it suitable for land applications as well as Marine. The intelligent 711P smoke detector comes with built-in drift compensation. Once the drift compensation limit has been reached, i.e. the detector has become too dirty to operate at the same sensitivity, the detector will automatically adjust the sensitivity to allow it to continue operating.
